Homes for Sale Worth a Look

Many of our clients rent in a community for a year before they buy there. Here are a few from the other side of the market.

How it works

How Renting With Us Works

No pressure, no surprises. Here is what happens between your first message and moving in.

  1. Step 1 of 4

    Shortlist and view

Tell us your budget, preferred communities and move-in date. We line up viewings in one afternoon where we can.

  2. Step 2 of 4

    Offer and cheque schedule

We put your offer to the landlord, including the number of cheques, and confirm what is included: chiller, maintenance, parking.

  3. Step 3 of 4

    Contract and registration

We read the tenancy contract with you, then register it through Ejari in Dubai or Tawtheeq in Abu Dhabi.

  4. Step 4 of 4

    Utilities and move-in

Help connecting DEWA or ADDC, a joint inspection with photos on move-in day, and a contact for the year ahead.

How does rent work in the UAE?

Rent is quoted per year, which is how prices appear on this site. Landlords usually ask for payment by post-dated cheques, from one to four (sometimes twelve), plus a refundable security deposit of around 5% for unfurnished homes or 10% for furnished ones.

What is Ejari, and do I need it?

Ejari is the official registration of a tenancy contract in Dubai. You need it to connect DEWA (water and electricity), to apply for residence visas for family members and for some school applications. In Abu Dhabi the equivalent system is Tawtheeq. Our leasing team handles the registration for you.

Can my landlord increase the rent at renewal?

In Dubai, increases are capped by the RERA rental index: a landlord can only raise the rent if the current rent is below the index for similar homes, and must give 90 days' written notice. Your agent can check the index for your unit before renewal.
